In all honesty, I'm just your typical paparazzi-style point-and-shooter and don't knowmuch about cameras or rendering and aliasing and all that technical stuff. This is our first video camera and we bought it mostly to film our fast growing baby. Before making a choice my husband spent a lot of time researching cameras, watching video samples on YouTube, reading reviews, etc. We decided to get an HD camera, but most other models were way over our budget. I'm very happy we went with this reasonably priced camera. I just grab it and it's ready to shoot instantly. The video quality to me looks excellent, even in the low light indoors and with my shaky-hands production.
